The tours leave from the Mountain Springs Lodge in Plain (just 14 miles from Leavenworth). The professionalism of the guide, the ease of check-in, and their provision of the necessary safety and warm weather gear was much appreciated.
We spent an hour zooming up and down groomed trails with the sun sparkling off the freshly fallen snow. They have 1-to-3-hour rides with a night one offered, as well. The best tour is the one you don’t want to end. That was our Suzy’s Slip and Slide adventure! It left us wanting more, but a quick bite, delicious coffee, and shopping for unique gifts was in the plan at the Plain Hardware store. Plain is a hidden gem on the way to Lake Wenatchee.
